Notice from Hong Kong Customs
Dear
Sir/Madam,
Trade Single Window to replace Road Cargo System on May 1
The
Trade Single Window (TSW) will replace the existing Road Cargo System (ROCARS)
on May 1, for the submission of advance cargo information (road) by the trade.
User data of the existing ROCARS will be automatically migrated to the TSW
system. Users are not required to re-register and only need to log in with
their existing accounts for a seamless transition to the TSW service.
To
tie in with the system migration, ROCARS will cease operation from midnight on
May 1, and the relevant cutover work is expected to be completed in the early
morning of the same day. During the system cutover period, cargo clearance
services at land boundary control points in operation will remain normal. If
trader require to conduct cross-boundary transportation during the system
cutover period on May 1, they should plan ahead to submit advance cargo
information (road) and complete the relevant bundling arrangements well in
advance.
To
enable the trade to have a more comprehensive experience, Hong Kong Customs and
Excise Department offers hands-on training for the TSW system. Please fill out
the enrolment form below. Seats are limited and on first-come, first-served
basis.
