Diversity & Inclusion practices relating to gender in the logistics and transport industries Diversity and Inclusion (D&I)
improves organizational health and is an enabler for organizations to cope with
changes and continue functioning in a high-performance workplace culture.
Logistics and transport is a male dominated industry where gender diversity at
play would create an impact. Moreover, as globalization and technology
advancement continue, the industry has increasingly become a choice of
profession by women.
To facilitate women engagement in the
industry, identifying and sharing company practices on gender diversity and
inclusion are crucial. In this event, WiLAT invites reputable speakers for
sharing their insights and best practices on promoting gender diversity and
inclusion in Logistics and Transport Industries in Hong Kong. WiLAT will also
present the findings of the Diversity & Inclusion survey during the event. Through
this survey, the current state of D&I practices was collected from
enterprises in logistics and transport. 12 representative enterprises with a
total workforce of around 30,000 employees actively participated in this survey
and showed a high degree of support at senior management level. Event details:
